Total variation-based image inpainting and denoising using a primal-dual active set method

This paper presents a formulation of an -based variational model implementable in simultaneous
image inpainting and Gaussian denoising. To solve the optimization problem, an active set method that utilizes generalized derivatives on the regularized TV-type problem and its dual problem is applied. A numerical study ends the paper.
